it’s really weird how the creative teams responsible for tv shows will deliberately tease out romantic possibilities or ground an entire series in an explicitly romantic/sexual relationship, and then they turn around and mock the members of their audience who recognize and enjoy those teases or relationships
what an interesting means of interacting with the people who consume your work
#or the industry acting like ‘shipping is STRANGE AND INCOMPREHENSIBLE #because #you know #romance is weird and gross and not at all worthy of attention or notice #definitely not the subject of multiple classic works long celebrated #but i guess it’s not really romance if it’s written by a white guy and it’s about a dude’s pain over a lady’s death or some shit #that’s ART
